MILLING – machining

Milling is a mechanical machining by a rotating, multi-blade tool, commonly known as a thread.
Typical of milling is the rotating movement of the thread, with simultaneous movement of the material.

There are 2 types of milling:

• milling by thread
• milling by treated material

In both cases, there are two another kinds of milling:

• concurrent
• backward

The machine which makes the milling is called a miller.
